A direct availability and a correct composition of nutrients play a crucial role during the plant's blooming phase. CANNA FLORES stimulates the fructification and contains all the nutrients that the plant needs during this phase.

During the blooming phase considerable less nitrogen is needed for example, but an increased need for potassium and phosphor occurs. In addition, CANNA FLORES has a unique formula rich in chelated trace elements in a directly absorbable form. This results in an exuberant bloom.

Use CANNA FLORES A&B for the blooming and fruiting stages of the plant. Rich in elements like potassium, phosphorous and unique chelated trace elements that dramatically increase the number of flowering and fruiting sites. This insect catchers put an end to fruit flies, spider mites, mosquitoes, lice and other pests. Therefore they are ideal and indispensable in any growing environment.

These insect traps are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The practical protection sheets on both sides, are particularly useful, never sticky fingers.

Some call them old-fashioned but for our customers and us, glue traps are THE proven concept against flies. Fly Catchers are an effective and non-toxic way of controlling flying insects.

The glue trap attracts flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects by its spiral form and traps them on
its sticky surface.

Made from natural ingredients (resins, oils, fat), Fly Catchers are absolutely safe, odorless and environmentally-friendly. The glue traps are ready-to-use for fast and easy insect control.

The nematodes Steinernema Feltiae (Nemasys Leather Jacket killer) can be used to combat leather jackets larvae (larvae of fungus gnats). At the moment they are released into the soil, they will independently look for larvae. The nematodes penetrate the larvae and separate a bacterium that kill the larvae. The nematodes reproduce in the larvae. For best results, the soil should have a temperature above 13 degrees C.

The nematodes are supplied in a clay substance to be dissolved in water. Nemasys Leather Jacket Killer comes in pack of appr. 5 million pieces, accounting for 10 m2. We recommend to use preventive natural predators at the start of each cultivation.

The predatory bug Orius is a flattened insect about 3 mm in size with is one typical long snout. This mobile wolverine feeds on all stages of thrips. If no thrips occurs, they also feed on other insects, such as whiteflies, aphids and spider mites. At high densities of prey they kill more than they really need as food. These predatory bugs are supplied in packs, good for a control of 50 m2, but most effective at max 20m2.

Thrips are winged insects of less than a millimeter in size. The larvae are mobile and start eating immediately after hatching. They feed on leaf tissue at the underside of the leaf. By sucking the living plant cells silver gray spots appear on the leaves, on which black spots can be seen (excrement). At high density damage to the flowers also occurs. Thrips populations can develop very quickly. A thrip can produce about 100 offspring. At 30 degrees it takes thrips 12 days to develop from egg to adult.

CANNA VEGA guarantees a spectacular, vital bloom. It is a good nutrient especially developed for Hydrocultural.

CANNA VEGA contains sicilic acids, humic acids and fulvinic acids, which are present in the soil in their natural forms. An extract of brown algae, rich in trace elements, amino acids and vitamins, completes the compound. As a result of the production methods, this extract is capable of forming a semi-permeable membrane on the roots, which improves the capacity of the plant to absorb water and nutrients. This ensures excellent resistance against diseases and a perfect bloom!

Just like those that grow naturally, cultivated plants also do best in a nutritious soil. Plagron has been working with the Dendrobena Veneta worm for many years. This worm is highly suitable for keeping potting soil light and airy. If these worms are bred in controlled and optimum soil conditions, they produce a fertile, organic and significantly growth-promoting soil conditioning agent.

The natural worm humus of Plagron has an extremely high organic content and offers your plants an abundance of trace elements, enzymes and minerals.

It provides an optimum proportion of nitrogen, phosphor and potash, so that the plants are given precisely the diet in which they can develop fastest. Plagron worm humus also contains living fungi and bacteria that promote optimum soil life. Your plants will feel at home.

Using worm humus has many advantages. It promotes faster and better germination of seeds, powerful root development, higher nutrient absorption in the plant and, ultimate, a better and higher yield. It also promotes general resistance. Plagron worm humus can be used at all times. It never burns, even with the most delicate plants. Plagron worm humus is not only highly fertile and natural, but is also economical and extremely user-friendly.

Usage in full soil: You can fertilise 3 to 4 square metres with 1 litre of worm humus.

Usage in potting soil: 10 to 20% worm humus: mix well.

Mapito is a very airy medium with a limited water retention capacity. This will dry out faster and therefor the substrate must be watered more frequently. Most Mapito is not clean, ie they often have a higher EC and a somewhat lower pH. Always test this out before you get started by pouring some water on the mapito and squeeze it out 10 minutes later. Then measure the pH and EC of the water again. If you have done that, you can decide how to start the initial wetting (with or without the EC and PH).

You can usually use mapito 3 times, more often also but this depends on how you tread youw Mapito.

Rockwool is light, compact and relatively inexpensive. It has a large water retention capacity and contains much air. Yet it is true that Rockwool for a tropical plant, knows its operating instructions. Most of the growers grow too wet. This reduced the consumable EC. That's fine for a growing plant, but not for a blooming one.

The PH value of Rockwool is quite high, around 8. With Rockwool it is important to wett the Rockwool well with water of a low pH (5.1 to 5.5), especially as the rockwool has the tendency to increase the pH inside the Slab PH. Make sure that the PH never falls below 5, you plant can take it, but the Rockwool does not. It will lose its elasticity and collapse. If you treat your Rockwool good, it is relatively long lasting.
