Without UVB, reptiles can develop a collision alternate disease in less than six months. In combination with the right temperature, this lamp ensures that your reptiles produce vitamin D and absorb calcium from their food. UVA: UVA is part of the rainbow of colors that reptiles can perceive. It increases activity level, appetite and stimulates reproductive behavior. Without UVA, reptiles are color blind. The T5 lamps are twice as strong as standard Reptisun lamps.

The Exo Terra Halogen Glow Light gives you the versatility where necessary to place a light / heat source. Of industrial quality, with aluminum reflector, heat resistant GU-10 socket and clamp with headset. It can be easily switched by the switch, which is mounted on the extra long cord. The inside of the reflector is coated with a highly reflective luminous coating long after the lamp is off the absorbed light continues to radiate. This allows diurnal reptiles and amphibians add to dig in and withdraw into their hiding without stress. As with moonshine allow it to monitor the nocturnal reptiles and amphibians without disturbing their night cycle. The lamp is developing infrared heat waves and is a typical heating lamp. The spot has a special built-in reflector to direct the heat in any direction. A lamp specially designed as a basking spot lamp. The narrow beam of light can be directed precisely to create a place for sunbathing. The heat and light in the beam takes by 35%, which allows a greater distance between the lamp and the basking spot. The UVA (ultraviolet A) light contributes to the physiological well-being of reptiles.

The lamp which simulates natural moonlight night observation makes it possible, without having to disturb the day and night cycle of the animal. The light emitted is bluish due to the use of blue glass. The heat generated by the bulb is minimal but enough to approach a tropical night temperature. The lower wattage of the lamps does not interfere with the natural drops in temperature at night.
